The device works well as long as its in range of the phone with the app. If the pet moves further out of range positioning is very spotty and normally not in real time. We bpought this item in order to track our dog who “escapes” and takes herself on long walks around the neighbourhood. It was not effective at all in locating her at ll and did not serve its purpose for us.
